Pharmacopoeial
Laboratory for Indian Medicine (PLIM) is a subordinate office
of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, (Deptt. of
AYUSH), Govt. of India. It is located at Central Govt.
Offices Complex-I, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad-201 002.
This
laboratory is a Standards Setting cum Drugs Testing Laboratory
at National Level for Indian Medicines which include
drugs of Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha systems.

Laboratory also attend the inquiries from various sectors
and individuals in respect of Standardization, Testing/Analysis
of ISM Drugs and also about Medicinal Plants.

Herbarium...

The
Herbarium has 750 specimens of medicinal plants used in Indian
Systems of Medicine.

Museum...
|
|
|
The
Museum has 4000 exhibits of raw material used in the formulations
of ISM. Crude drugs specimens of Plant, Animal and Mineral
origin are arranged as per their origin and used in different
systems.

Library...

The
Library houses an excellent collection of about 2000 old and
latest subject books on Botany, Pharmacognosy, Chemistry,
Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha etc. This laboratory also subscribes
scientific journals on different subjects to keep up-to-date
knowledge in the field of ISM and Drug Standardisation.
